Our Story

Welcome Baby Care opened our doors in 2006, when we became the first in-home postpartum doula agency in the Twin Cities. Originally affiliated with an elder care company, Welcome Baby Care began operations under license from the Minnesota Department of Health. Today, although separate from the original company, we continue our operations according to the guidelines set by the Minnesota Department of Health because it’s the right way to run this kind of business. Our Specialists are the finest in-home caregivers in the Twin Cities. We require they be current in all their certifications, including infant/child CPR. They pass criminal background checks, sign confidentiality agreements, and have glowing references - all to provide the best, most professional in-home care available.
