our speciality is in-home services for families with infants
What We Offer

The first twelve weeks postpartum are the toughest and also the sweetest — you shouldn’t be worried about things like doing laundry or fixing meals. Though we are there to help for as long as needed, a postpartum doula’s greatest accomplishment is to work herself out of the job. Our ultimate goal is to help you grow stronger and more confident.

Exclusively caring for infants (up to 1 year). The Infant Caregiver is trained and experienced in infant physical, emotional, and social development. They help your baby reach developmental milestones through play, exercise, feeding, and sleep. If you need someone to solely take care of your baby, this service is for you. Sibling care may be added for an additional fee. For more extensive new parent and household care, check out our Postpartum Doula Services.

If your baby needs nighttime support, this service is for you. During the hours of 10pm and 6am our Overnight Infant Caregiver will do everything baby care. They feed, change, and soothe your baby so you can get a restful night allowing you to wake up refreshed and ready for the day. Overnight Infant Caregivers require a sleep/rest space and access to baby monitor.

While some level of parental exhaustion is par for the course during Baby’s first year, establishing healthy habits and a solid routine can help maximize sleep for the entire family. Welcome Baby Care has a growing number of Sleep Specialists on staff. Our Infant Sleep Specialists are trained by Welcome Baby Care’s Educators utilizing evidence-based and researched information, and focusing on individual family needs.

Breastfeeding is said to be “natural and instinctive”, but it’s not always easy! A little help goes a long way… Enjoy a visit with one of our Lactation Specialists (IBCLC, CLC, CLEC) in the comfort of your own home. They review your history, concerns, and breastfeeding goals during their assessment. You receive a written plan with resources, a follow-up phone call, and email/text support.
