Because lasagna really IS a great thing to bring to the home of a postpartum family. It freezes well, it portions well, it reheats well. It’s bubbly, yummy stick-to-your ribs comfort food. BUT sometimes–when everyone’s stopping by with a pan–lasagna gets a little boring. Here’s a little twist casually inspired by another easy Italian fave…pizza! This was a hit with my family–hope you like it too!
Ingredients:
- No-boil lasagna noodles
- 3 cups of your favorite pasta sauce
- 8 oz. ricotta cheese
- 8 oz. shredded mozzarella
- 3 large slices provolone
- 7 – 8 large slices uncured deli pepperoni
- 4 – 5 slices uncured Black Forest ham
The How To:
Super easy! Layer and build as you wish in a small loaf pan. Ham and ‘roni not your thing? Use YOUR favorite pizza toppings–black olives, banana peppers, Italian sausage…you name it. Enjoy!
