It is more humbling than you know, that you open the door to your home late at night—welcoming me like family, like a superhero, like a treasure.  That you trust me with your most precious treasure means the world and means that I will do my best—always—to advocate for you, support you, and instill in you the belief that you can do this.  Because you are a mother.  And I am your doula.
