One of the most common questions we find ourselves answering at Pacifier is:
“What do we really need for a new baby?”
After over a decade in the baby business, we want to share some of our favorites with you!
1. The NoseFrida: The NoseFrida Nasal Aspirator is the most efficient way to clear out your baby’s snot. “Snot-Sucking” like this may seem like a bizarre concept, but it’s the easiest, safest and cleanest way to get the job done! I can’t count the number of parents who have recommended this as the most essential, yet often forgotten about, product for a new baby.
2. Swaddles: There are seemingly a million ways to swaddle and a million brands of swaddles – but we honestly couldn’t do without them. Swaddle your baby, use them as blankets or burp cloths, toss them over the carseat to keep out the sun – use them however you want to, and look cute doing so. We love the Aden + Anais swaddles because the fabric is so soft and there are so many prints to choose from.
Tip: the bamboo fabric Aden + Anais swaddles are even softer and come in different pattern options from the muslin styles.
3. Baby Carrier: The Beco Gemini Baby Carrier is, hands down, my favorite baby carrier. It carries children from 7 to 35 pounds, and with its ergonomic design, it’s comfortable to wear all the way up to the 35lb mark! The Gemini can be worn with the child facing you or facing out, on your hip, on your back, or on your front. I love the Beco for how versatile it is to wear and because it supports baby’s hips in an ergonomic way that encourages healthy growth. The Beco Gemini is totally machine washable as well!
